Camelot CDC Director

My name is Michelle Wells. I am married and we have two children, both boys. I was born and raised in Hutchinson, Kansas and moved to Edmond, Ok in 1999. I have been in the childcare field since 2000. What I thought would be a great job to help my family out and to be able to spend time with my children became a wonderful career which I love! Through earning my Certificate of Mastery in Child Development and multiple trainings throughout the years, I have realized that childcare is where I should be. After working in the classroom for 5 years, I advanced to management. In January of 2005, I helped open and establish Camelot CDC. I was an Assistant Director for 3 years and then became Director. Being a Director is not only fulfilling, but also rewarding because of all the connections that are made with the children, parents, and co-workers. Striving to provide the best care possible is a daily goal that is only accomplished through team work and a desire to help children develop and learn to the best of their abilities.

My name is Britton Gonzales. I am married and we have recently started our little family with a girl. I was born and raised here in Edmond, Oklahoma. I started at Camelot in 2010 as a part-time teacher working with the school agers and 2 year olds, then went onto working with all ages. After graduating high school I attended college for nursing but continued to work at Camelot when I was available. While in school I realized that I loved working with children and for Camelot. At this time the Assistant Director position was offered to me and without hesitation I switched my major to early childhood education. The fulfillment I get through the relationships made with children and their families is something I will cherish forever.
